A career in the Canadian Armed Forces allowed me the opportunity to learn and understand how to deal with extraordinary physical and mental demands on our bodies. This opportunity allowed me to understand why personal well being and self care are so important to ensuring a healthy body and mind throughout all stages of life.

This has led me to direct my path towards helping others through massage therapy and eventually graduating from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. I use orthopedic assessment in order to develop an individualized treatment plan and increase the clients knowledge of how poor posture or injury can be causing dysfunction. Since not everyone responds to every treatment style, I utilize different modalities such as: Myo-fascial release, Neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy and muscle energy work. I have also found clients obtain significantly more success when they understand and participate in their own recovery. To this end, I strive to develop home care plans tailored to each client to ensure they continue on a positive path of healing outside of the treatment room.

I have been physically active my whole life and always eager to experience new and exciting challenges. On my time off you will find me maintaining a healthy lifestyle through crossfit, obstacle course racing, and enjoying what nature has to offer through camping and fishing.

I believe that positive outlooks lead to active recovery so you will always find a safe and supportive environment in my treatment room. I am eager to work with anyone who is interested in learning to understand what will enhance their mobility or assist in their recovery.

NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME THANK YOU.

Born and raised in Kelowna, my family had a long-standing business in the Pandosy neighbourhood past down from my Grandfather and his brother to my father and uncle, Robertson’s Clothing and Shoes. In light of this, the clinic has a special Lakeshore location for me that is sentimental. I’m a country girl at heart, and was raised on a farm in the beautiful forested hills of South Kelowna riding horses, and enjoying the outdoors.

I completed my RMT education at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy because I believe this Vancouver campus offered the most advanced educational standards and practical outreach. I was fortunate to begin my career in Vancouver working at luxury spas and treating actors and producers of the film industry. My reputation for thorough deep tissue work and myofascial manipulation quickly landed me some additional experience treating CFL and NHL athletes and world championship bodybuilders. Vancouver was an excellent start to my career.

I have taken continued studies in Cranial Sacral, Neurovascular Release, and Osteopathy. This additional training has diversified my approach to my treatments, as the body requires much variation in focus week to week working on different needs and goals for my clients. These additional studies have taught me the value of focusing not only on muscular tissue, but also on the intricate vasculature, nerves, connective tissue, bones and joints as well.

On a more personal level, I am super passionate about athletics and fitness. I have a history working as a certified personal trainer, and I am a dedicated fitness enthusiast, which has helped me understand how important it is to focus on mobility and pain free movement with massage. When I am not at work you can find me at the gym, yoga studio or hiking for the most part!

My main goal with treatment is to help my clients balance their mental state through the physical release of pain and muscular dysfunction, as each aspect of our wellness greatly impacts one another. My undergraduate studies are focused around Psychology and I plan to study more around brain health in the future. I am certified in Reiki Level 1 and 2, and value energy healing practices. I think it is incredibly useful to be an intuitive working in a healing touch profession.
